GG Group welcomes Markus Ganahl as a new member of the Board of Management. On February 1, 2024, Mr. Ganahl will take over the COO function from CEO, COO/CRO Arno Haselhorst, who has been accountable for the Operations division on an interim basis since December 2022 and will thus initially be responsible for the areas of Manufacturing Engineering, the management of all plants, and later on also for Supply Chain.
His activities will focus on continuing the transformation process and the final implementation of measures already taken towards operational excellence and the optimization of production processes, as well as the roll-out of the current footprint expansions in Ruse, Bulgaria and San Juan del Río, Mexico.

"With his many years of experience in our relevant markets, such as Germany, the USA and China, we will ensure that we successfully start production in Ruse in just a few months and have efficiently expanded capacity at the San Juan del Río site, supplying our customers worldwide with innovative and high-tech products for the mobility of tomorrow," adds CSO/CTO Holger Fastabend.

Markus Ganahl, 51, was most recently COO at Hirschmann Automotive. The Vorarlberg native is married, has two children and is a keen and active sportsman.
