After 24 years at the helm of Gebauer & Griller Kabelwerke GmbH, Friederike Jacquelin (62) is handing over her CEO position at the start of April to Eva Schinkinger (47) and will move across to the Supervisory Board. Ms. Schinkinger has worked for the company for over 22 years and has been a managing director since 2012.
"I like to move things forward and we have achieved much success in that respect. Gebauer & Griller has become more international, it now has offices in Moldova, India and Mexico, and employs over 3,000 staff," stated Friederike Jacquelin, adding: "The company is well positioned and continuity at senior management level is secured."
The company's next-generation plan at senior executive level has in fact been under way for some time.
On 1 December 2015, Mr Nicholas Griller (33) was appointed Managing Director at Gebauer & Griller Kabelwerke, responsible for sales, marketing and PR going forward. Nikolaus Griller has worked for the company for 6 years and represents the 3rd generation at the owner-managed industrial group.
At the same time, representation for technical functions at executive level has been strengthened with the appointments of Dipl. Ing. Axel Blasko (44) and Dr. Holger Fastabend (50) as Managing Directors. Axel Blasko is responsible for the Harness Division and brings extensive international experience in the automotive industry. Holger Fastabend, as managing director of the Wires Division, brings significant know-how of the cable market as well as international experience at executive management level.
"Gebauer & Griller is a stable and successful company. Together we want to expand our position as a technology leader and our talent for innovation, and continue our 75-year success story," underlined Eva Schinkinger.
